Allan has had a busy year or so, he shifted camp, replaced the house roof after it was blown off in a storm and tidied some rooms as well so not much has been done to the trike, however he is now keen to finish and register, not much to do either, just side lights and reflectors etc

Upper push rod covers have been cast and polished, oil lines added and a set of trial exposed valve springs added, a new set will be manufactured and fitted shortly.

Meet Howard Harley

As Howard motor parts are rare and expensive Allan decided to upgrade the old motor with new Harley barrels and pistons.
The Howard con rods are longer and the Harley barrel fixing bolts/holes didn't match the Howard crank case so aluminium adapting spacers were cast and machined.
New rocker gear castings were also made to more closely match those on a Matchless, exterior valve springs will be added later.
